Are you one of the families which create a lot of mess at home?
If you follow a few simple steps, may be you can turn around your living in a simpler and organized place.
• Include all the members in the team, including the young and the old (ofcourse don’t let the eldest ones work, hand over the job supervision to them).
Instead of forcing duties on them, make it a fun task with inclusion of rewards and small games, a poem or rhyming song for motivation and encouragement etc.
This would not just keep the participation level up but will subdue laziness and fatigue.
• Allocate the jobs according to areas where one can work best. For instance, kids are more interested in packing their toys after their play is over. Don’t give this job to their daddy!
• Be positive about the work. Don’t criticize one’s effort; rather acknowledge the good work done. Social recognition and the feeling of being noticed is a great morale booster.
• Communicate in soft, clear manner. Do not ridicule the work done by other members, even if it’s a small contribution, something is always better than nothing.

While it is not often that you forget your official appointments, but it’s the other way round when it comes to organizing your home. And the excuse is genuine.
